AIX LLC has been providing nondestructive testing in the field of aviation since 1973.  AIX was first established as Alaska Industrial X-ray by Peter Millar in the early 70s.  Mr. Millar provided engineering and nondestructive testing services in the pipeline, refinery, offshore, aircraft, and welding inspection fields from inception in 1973 to the present.  In 1997 Alaska Industrial X-ray started a separate company (AIX LLC) that was designed solely for the field of aircraft inspection within the State of Alaska.  With a need to adhere to increasing regulation within the industry, Donald Millar took over the position as President of AIX LLC in 2002. AIX LLC continues to be a repair station that has provided inspection services for numerous companies and general aviation enthusiasts throughout the State of Alaska.

AIX LLC is a certified repair station (CI4R103M) that provides nondestructive testing to aircraft structures and components.  Since 1973 we have provided these services to numerous part 135, 121 and 145 operators throughout the State of Alaska and beyond.
